Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport you will be greeted by the Airport Representative and Professional Chauffer of Ayubowan Tours & Travels. Your chauffer will drive you to Sigiriya via Pinnawala. Visit the Elephant Orphanage en-route. It’s an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants. Proceed to Sigiriya visiting Dambulla Cave Temple en route. Dambulla is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful paintings which related to Lord Buddha and his life. There are 80 documented caves in the surrounding and a total of 153 Buddha statues within the main 05 caves. Overnight Sigiriya.
After breakfast visit the Sigiriya Kingdom, which was built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. and was a royal citadel for more than 18 years. The Sigiriya site contains the ruins of an upper palace located on the flat top of the rock, a mid level terrace that includes the Lion Gate and the mirror wall with its frescoes, the lower palaces clings to the slopes below the rocks. Proceed to Kandy. It is recommended to visit an Herbal Spice Garden at Matale which is on the way to Sigiriya to learn about Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices and a lot of different herbs. Visit Sri Muttumariamman Hindu Temple at Matale, one of the visually dominant features of this temple is its 32.9 m (108 ft) high Gopuram ('Raja Gopuram'), a large decorated tower with 1008 statues of Hindu Deities located above the main northern gateway. Conduct a sightseeing tour in Kandy including a visit to Gem Museum, Handicraft Factory and Handloom & Battik Factory. Witness the Cultural Dancing Show in the evening. It’s a stimulating of Sri Lankan Arts, Dance and Cultural Heritage with traditional dancer’s & drummer’s performance. Overnight Kandy.
After breakfast Visit the Temple of the Tooth which houses the Sacred Tooth of Lord Buddha. Visitors can observe poojas (offerings) the ancient traditions of drumming and sacred chanting in honor of the Tooth Relic. Visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya. It is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Then proceed to Nuwara Eliya by visiting a Tea Factory, Tea Plantations and Water Falls. Visit a tea factory around Ramboda will be a fantastic stop through misty mountains as you can enjoy a cup of tea (world famous “Ceylon Tea”) and also you can buy fresh products from their outlet. Optional: You can visit Shri Bhakta Hanuman temple at Ramboda which is dedicated to the God Hanuman and you can witness the 18 feet Hanuman statue. Visit Ramboda Falls and reach Nuwara Eliya by passing scenic misty mountains. Conduct a sightseeing tour in Nuwaraeliya to enjoy the beauty of the city which is locally called “Little England”. Overnight Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast leave for Horton Plains. It is located at an elevation of 2,100–2,300 m (6,900–7,500 ft.) and encompasses montane grassland and cloud forest. It is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. You can experience an amazing walk taking you to Bakers Falls and Worlds End. The Horton Plains are the headwaters of three major Sri Lankan rivers, the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe. Visit Ambewela Milk Factory en-route for gaining a different experience. Optional: Visit Sita Amman Temple on the way back. It is the only Hindu Temple which dedicated to Princess Sita in Sri Lanka. Overnight Nuwara Eliya.
After breakfast leave for Nanu Oya Station to experience the train ride to Ella. Your chauffer will be picked up you from Ella Station. Visit Nine Arches Bridge and other sightseeing in Ella. Climb Little Adams Peak which has a fantastic view on the top. It takes about an hour to walk up to the top and the path is well laid out. The views once you are at the top are simply stunning. Stay at leisure and enjoying the dinner at a restaurant in Ella city will be memorable. Overnight Ella.
After breakfast proceed to Yala visiting Ravana Caves & Ravana Falls on the way. Ravana Falls is currently ranking as one of the widest falls in the country. It is a gorgeous beautiful waterfall just by the main road which can have a view from the main road. Visit Buduruwagala Anciant Buddhist Temple. The complex consists of seven statues and belongs to the Mahayana school of thought. Overnight Yala.
Leave around 06 a.m. to experience the early morning safari at Yala National Park. Your chauffer will instruct the hotel to offer you a packet breakfast. Yala is famous for its elephant population, seen in small and large herds, spotted deer, Sambhur, Barking deer, Monkey, Wild Buffalo, Wild Boar, Sloth Bear and innumerable varieties of birds endemic and migratory. Peacock is the most famous of the birds at Yala. Proceed to the down south beach area and drop off at any south beach as per your request (such as Tangalle, Dickwella, Mirissa, Unawatuna,Galle & Hikkaduwa).
