Day 1

Meet & welcomed by our representative at Colombo International Airport. Transfer to Beach Hotel in Negombo. Overnight stay at a hotel in Negombo.

Day 2

After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. Evening visit Anuradhapura, the first capital of the island dating from the 4th century BC. See the sacred Boo Tree, world famous Samadhi Buddha, the remains of the Brazen Palace and rock carvings. Overnight stay at a hotel in Anuradhapura.

Day 3

After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya. Visit Mihintale, the town where Buddhism first overwhelmed the people of Sri Lanka. En route visit Dambulla Cave Temple, built by king Walagambahu, in the 1st Century B.C. it is a World Heritage Site, and the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. Overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 4

After breakfast climb Sigiriya rock fortress, explore the Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a World Heritage site of 5th century AD, built by the King Kashyapa. Its home to water gardens, frescoes, ancient graffiti and commands an amazing view of Sri Lanka’s greenery. Visit ancient city Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital and a World Heritage Site. This second capital city of Sri Lanka was built in the 11th and 12th centuries. See the ruins of the Royal Palace, Lotus Bath and Polonnaruwa Statue and visit the Gal Viharaya which is splendid statues of the Buddha carved out of rock. Overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 5

After breakfast leave for Kandy. Experience bullock cart ride, River canoeing, lunch & trekking at Hiriwadunna village. . En route to Kandy visit a spice garden at Matale to learn about spices and their use in Sri Lankan cuisines. Visit Tooth relic temple in Kandy. Evening cultural show in Kandy. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.

Day 6

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Ramboda falls, Seetha Eliya, Tea Plantations & a Tea Factory. Evening visit the Lake Gregory. Overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Ripon Grand Hill - 3*   Standard
Day 7

After breakfast proceed to Yala . In the afternoon make a jeep safari and try to spot one of the over 350 leopards that life here. As they are the only big predators on the island they are very self-confident and can often be found walking along the jeep routes. Overnight stay at a hotel in Yala.

Day 8

After breakfast leave for your South coast beach resort. Overnight stay at a hotel in South coast.

After breakfast at extend your stay or transfer to Airport for departure.
