Day 1

On arrival welcome by our airport representative and transfer to hotel in Kandy. En route visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela, established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. Check in at the hotel & leisure. Afternoon enjoy some sightseeing such as the Temple of Tooth Relic, an arts and crafts work shop, oriental market place, a bazaar and a gem lapidary where you can see how rough gems (particularly the famous Blue & Star sapphires) are mined cut and polished using traditional methods. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 2

Breakfast at hotel, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Afterwards drive for Colombo. Visit Beira Lake, Galle Face Green, Gangarama Temple, Independence Square, Lotus Tower, Colombo Fort etc. Later transfer to airport for onwards flight.
