Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at the Colombo International Airport. Clients will be welcomed by AYUBOWAN TOURS & TRAVELS representative and transfer to the hotel in Negombo. Check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 2

After a leisurely breakfast, leave for Kandy. En route to Kandy visit elephant orphanage in Pinnawala. See the elephants in nature, being fed, working & bathing in the nearby river. Check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening enjoy a cultural show. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy some sightseeing such as the Temple of Tooth Relic, an arts and crafts work shops etc. and enjoy the afternoon at leisure in Kandy to further explore the city. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Breakfast at the hotel. Make a train ride from Kandy to Ella. Pick up from Ella station and leave for Ella accommodation. Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Nine Arches Bridge. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. This bridge is 300 feet in length, 25 feet in width and 80-100 feet in height. Trekking at Little Adam`s Peak, the Little Adam`s Peak got it`s named after it`s big brother, the holy mountain Adam`s Peak, because of the similar shape. Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Arugam Bay. In Ella see the Rawana Water Falls. Relax in the east coast in Sri Lanka in Arugam Bay.

Breakfast at the resort and later in the day leave for Yala. Check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Yala.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a jeep safari at Yala National Park, which is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. This would be an experience of epic proportions that brings you up, close and personal with untamed wildlife. Among its favourite residents are the world’s biggest concentration of leopards, majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks and crocodiles.

Day 11

Breakfast at the hotel. Later leave for the beach resort. Travel through Tangalle and Matara. En route at Koggala see the stilt fishermen. Check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in beach hotel in South west coast.

Day 12

After breakfast leave Galle. Visit Galle fort, Galle Fort was built first by the Portuguese, then modified by the Dutch during the 17th century. Even today, after 400 years of existence, it looks new and polished with reconstruction work done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka, inside the Galle fort which is in a Dutch Colonial building in Church Street is the Cultural Museum. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight stay in Beach hotel.
